About the Company

Svafo is involved in the decommissioning of nuclear facilities and the management of nuclear waste from Sweden’s early nuclear research. Its operations are based in Studsvik, outside Nyköping, and include, among other things, the demolition and decommissioning of older nuclear facilities, as well as the handling and interim storage of radioactive waste pending final disposal.
