Operations & supportID06 – A clearer structure and user experience
ID06's services are used to connect individuals with companies, track attendance, and verify access permissions at worksites in the construction and civil engineering industry.
The ID06 card tracks attendance and verifies access rights, helping to create safer workplaces and ensure fair conditions.
With an extensive website and numerous information pages, ID06 clearly needed a more well-thought-out structure and an improved user experience. The existing solution made it difficult to navigate properly and find relevant information.
The design also needed to be updated to better meet today’s digital accessibility standards and ensure that the website continues to meet high accessibility requirements.
The goal was to make the website easier to navigate and help users find the right information more quickly.
- ID06’s services and content needed to be presented more clearly, while ensuring that the user experience worked just as well on mobile as it did on desktop.

A user-centered structure
The project began with an analysis of the existing structure, content, and user needs in order to identify areas for improvement and set the direction for the work ahead. Through SEO analysis and an understanding of different target audiences, the content was restructured and prioritized more clearly based on user needs.
Wireframes were used early in the process to test workflows, features, and navigation before the design work began. This provided a clearer picture of how the website would function in practice and made it possible to make informed decisions early in the project.
The design process was based on creating a clearer and more consistent user experience throughout the website.
A design system was developed to create greater consistency, improve readability, and make the content easier to understand. At the same time, the design was further refined to comply with WCAG and the accessibility requirements for the website.
The result is a more user-friendly website where users can more easily understand what the next step is and how to proceed.
Flexible WordPress Solution
The technical solution was further developed in WordPress with flexibility and long-term maintenance in mind.
Using a block-based approach, ID06 can create and update content on their own without relying on developers.
The solution is built on custom blocks, tailored content types, and a modern technical foundation that includes React, Tailwind, and API integrations. This makes the website flexible for day-to-day use and easy to further develop over time.
Features that enhance the user experience
Several features were further developed to enhance both the user experience and day-to-day operations within the organization:

- News feed for current content
- Improved search function
- Clearer contact channels and forms
A solid foundation from the start
Prior to the launch, we ensured that the website had the right technical and SEO foundations from the start.
This included, among other things, proper URL structure, handling of redirects, integration with Search Console, performance optimization, and thorough quality assurance.
The result
The updated website makes it easier to find the right information and understand how ID06 works.
The user experience is more cohesive, and the platform is better equipped for continued development over time.
