With a broad portfolio of destinations and the need for a common digital foundation, Tankbar was commissioned to develop a new platform for Stockholm Meeting Selection and its facilities. The goal was to create a modern, scalable, and efficient ecosystem where each facility could highlight its unique identity—while the group was held together by a uniform structure and common functions.
The project began with a preliminary study and an overall SEO plan. We identified what distinguishes the facilities and their unique offerings, and based on this, we developed a basic structure for sitemaps that suits each facility. The common structure makes it easy to develop and expand the websites as new offerings or areas of activity are added.

We developed a comprehensive design system for the entire group – with components, blocks, modules, sections, and navigation patterns that are used on all websites. The system is designed to be shared, but at the same time flexible enough to be adapted to each facility's graphic profile.
All sites share the same code base, which simplifies updates and further development. At the same time, each facility can use its own colors and fonts to maintain its visual identity within the framework of the common platform.

The design work was based on a clear mobile-first strategy, where the structure was first defined for smaller screens. By starting with the constraints of mobile devices, we were able to ensure that the interface was fast, easy to navigate, and adapted to actual user behavior. The result is a well-designed mobile experience that supports both accessibility and engagement—and scales up naturally for larger screens.
To simplify the work and create a common foundation for all facilities, we built a central structure in WordPress where functions and blocks can be managed and reused on all sites. This provides a consistent experience and efficient administration, while allowing each facility to customize its content according to its own offerings.
To streamline content management, a central image bank linked to external storage services was integrated. Images can thus be managed in one place and automatically used and updated on all facility websites, saving time and creating a consistent visual experience.
The shared platform updates several key post types that are shared by all facilities: posts (news), conference offers, conference rooms, party rooms, and employees. Since all websites use the same code base, features can be further developed and improved in one place—while each facility retains its own styling with unique colors and fonts.

All sites retrieve their hotel offers directly from BookVisit, which means that current packages are always displayed automatically without manual updates. This creates a more reliable flow and ensures that guests are always presented with the right selection.
To create the right conditions for visibility and follow-up, a common SEO plan was established for the entire multisite. The platform was also supplemented with customized e-commerce tracking for BookVisit, Upsales tracking, and event tracking for important interactions such as forms and CTA buttons. All websites were linked to updated reports in Looker Studio, providing a clear and up-to-date picture of traffic, behavior, and revenue at each facility.

The platform provides Stockholm Meeting Selection with a cohesive and scalable digital structure where content, functions, and post types can be managed centrally and used at all facilities. The shared code base and common image bank streamline work, while each facility retains its visual identity. Automatic weekend offers from BookVisit, mobile-optimized design, high performance, and clear tracking provide better conditions for both user experience and follow-up over time.
